Pocket Receptionist are the UK’s leading, award-winning, Live Call-Answering service. Founded in April 2016, the concept is based on having an entire receptionist team that you can fit in your pocket – meaning, that the service is app-based.
The Pocket Receptionist team were honoured to be invited to attend the awards evening on Tuesday 23rd March 2022, as finalists. Out of 900 entrants, Pocket Receptionist came within the top 7 in ‘The Business Innovation of the Year’ award category.
Hosted by Huw Edwards, lead presenter of BBC News, the Business Champion Awards brought UK businesses together to celebrate the very best of British business, including other finalists such as Channel 4 and DPD UK.
Technological Innovation
Built from the ground up in-house, Pocket Receptionist has continued to adapt and progress with outstanding technological innovation to now provide over 600 businesses with telecommunication and web support. A Customer Excellence Award coupled with being a finalist in a National award for Business Innovation highlights the keen focus the team has for listening to feedback to improve their tech, products, and service.
Pocket Receptionist has expanded into the omni-channel space, to ensure no enquiry is left unanswered. We see this trend continuing and aim to become more than a “call” handling service but a “communication” handling service, to allow customers to get on with their core business while all aspects of their customer communication are in capable hands.
